So far i've been following my book quite well. Here are some pictures from the days I've completed recently! The first is me enjoying my ribs. No i'm not THAT messy, I was smearing the ribs on my face for fun. On this day the book recommended that I "Eat like a king" and hell yes I did.
The second picture is the toe that I decided to pamper on "Single out one of your toes for special treatment" day. It has a smiley face because it loves me....?
Surgery’s Over! (I lived!)
Holy crap, big ordeal but I obviously survived it...since I'm posting and all....well to gross you out I've decided to post a shot of my back so you can see about what happened during this surgery. Have fun!

Jones Bottle!
Bwaha, Kevin's ex girlfriend works at a COFFEE PLACE and she says these bottles are coming in...i guess they're still running them. She brought us four of them and I enjoyed them thoroughly. (for those who don't know, these bottles feature one of the pictures i've taken)

Jones Soda!
As many of you know I love photography and it's a major part of my life...well a while ago I submitted a bunch of my stuff to Jones Soda and what they do is sift through their stuff and put what they like on their bottles. I searched for my name in google (a little ego boost) and found out in September of '04 they USED MY SHOT! AHHH! Not like this matters to you, but it freaks me out. Apparently one of the editors stumbled over my shot because it wasn't getting an incredible rating (like 7/10). Attached is the cut from the big pdf sheet that i found myself on! Although the chances are slim they'll still be running, if anyone finds it, i'd be glad to pay to have it shipped through the mail!

This is not good.
This sucks. I'm actually scared. This doesnt happen often, especially on something like elections, but it's looking grim for Kerry. I am nervous about everything, I'm nervous about the state of the country, I'm nervous about what voting this guy in is going to do to affect me, my family, and my future. I've had a nervous feeling in my stomach since last night when I noticed Bush was pulling ahead, and I have every reason to be scared of this man. Think of how many horrible things he's done in his first four years: Pulled the US into the biggest deficit we've ever been in, swayed many laws to coincide with his religious beliefs, started the discrimination of yet another group of people (homosexuals), took away or fought to take away many freedoms from many people (think abortion, think speech). At any moment, it is allowed by his laws that an agent could read any private conversation (internet or not) and if they feel fit take action on it (instant warrant) Not to mention what he's done to our environment, yet another lie from the Bush administration. The "Clean Air Act" is the total opposite of what the name states, it allows MORE pollution into the air and takes many limits off of greenhouse gasses and the amount of carcinogens released into the air. Bush has done so many horrible things in his first term, what the hell is going to happen now that he does not have to keep our votes. I'm really scared. Really truly scared.

I might as well update everyone on how college life is going so they don't hate me for just posting stuff to Elise....it's pretty fun actually being on my own, yeah I miss Portage, I miss Chicago, i miss friends, and I miss Elise, but I keep on realizing that none of these are going to just dissappear and will be there whenever I can get back. That's one thing that everyone should realize...distance means nothing when your love for something is strong enough. Friendship lasts through distances easily.

I just went on a ranting rampage in someones LJ that I haven't talked to in years. Not in a bad way or anything...that's why I'm posting it here.

War on American soil? Come on guys, terrorists will do whatever they want despite whatever rules are put in place. The current government is scaring our freedoms away with this stupid talk...one thing as well. Did everyone forget the proof that Bush had in his hands documents strongly urging him to hike up security because a large scale attack was expected?
Bush does not give honest answers. What is this war on irag from? Why did we do it? There are SO many more dangerous people in the world, what right did the government have to fabricate evidence to go to war, then go against the UN's will and attack. Bush does not tell it how it is, he tells us how he wants us to believe it is.
If you have the time you should check out www.bushgame.com it's a kinda fun way to find out all of the crappy things that have been done with the current people in charge. It's kinda silly, but it's fun to play and has some awesome ideas. (In a bit they are going to add a feature to browse through the various sections and factsheets)

-Weaken protections for soot and smog.
-Weaken protections for toxic mercury.
-Weaken Safeguards for National Parks.
-Worsen Global Warming

Sticking to what one believes in does not mean anything if it's done in a blind stupor. Think KKK, these guys totally believe what they're doing is right, they ARE sticking to what they believe in, but it's in the wrong way. When people actually take the facts presented and change their mind according to what seems more logical, they are thinking logically. A good leader has that feature.

It describes something I feel very often and I'm incredibly fortunate to have someone to share it with. When I see this picture I see two people in love, taking time out of the normally busy lifestyle to share a moment. Everyone else is still running around, going to themselves, but two people can share something so important without worrying about other things in life.
