I’m getting my iPod!
by Kyle on Sep.09, 2004, under Archive
I WIN!! After two days I got my five referrals (as stated in my first post) and after a very short verification process, my Ipod is in the processing stages (I submitted my address and all.) Damn I’m excited…I’m also excited about Elise coming up this weekend, so double yay for me! Here’s a screen shot of the final process:

Bumpy Ride

Oooh it has been a pretty cool time and the drive up was fun as hell although very very messed up. First off me and kevin were stuck in an incredibly long traffic jam, putting us behind at least an hour. After that we were detoured by police…bad news…they didnt’ show us at all where to go so we ended up south of Indianapolis two hours out of our way. Halfway back to Portage, Kev’s tire exploded so we had to get out, change it to a donut, and get to a store…which luckily had an awesome staff that stayed overtime to fix our stuff. I took a few pics which I will upload onto my photoblog eventually. My time with Elise is good as always, I love her incredible amounts and any second of time I spend with her is a good one. I can’t wait till next weekend..=).
Well here is where you’ll find the pics eventually, and if you feel like it, i’ve added a “tag” which is basically a front page message board that anyone can use. Please partake in the fun.

Edit: Also, thanks Kevin for giving me that extra time I wanted to hang out with Elise and my family before we left, it meant a lot. =)
WTF?

I usually don’t post these, but it turned out so perfectly for me.
Chiccy-G

Yeah Kyle here, coming straight from the mac store in Chicago. Yay…internet connection=fun times. I’m with Elise and brought my good camera so i could take some tasty pics (if i can find the right subject…i’ve still not taken one and we’ve been here for an hour) Chicago is much easier to take pics of at night. We’re gonna see open water, go get some Chicago Style Pizza (God that stuff is good) and than swing by Navy Pier (I want to take some pics there…) Ok well I’m not gonna hang out here much longer. I am totally convinced Macs are made for satan to use. This one button mouse fits perfectly if you have hooves.
Back Home!
by Kyle on Aug.24, 2004, under Archive
I’m back from the apartment for a while! I get to hang out with Elise and do everything else I wanna do before I go down again without worrying about work! Hooray! I’m not really worrying about anything anymore, although I’m sad, I know everything will turn out alright. I’m going to skip most of this since everyone already knows me and Elise are perfect for each other.

PICTURES GALORE!!
HAHAHABWAAAAAAHHH!
Kevin, your mother called me and I can’t get ahold of you on the phone, so I’m sorry but the only way I can relay this information to you is on a massively interactive journal server in which pretty much anyone in the world with an internet connection can get this data: Mr. Fluffums lost a button.
AAAAHH!!

I got my camera today! It’s a Nikon D70 and it’s friggin sexy. While I haven’t taken many pics with it (I had to charge it and it was pretty dark before I got a chance to take any pictures) I can tell it’s an incredible piece of camera. Feeling and hearing that SLR click is something that I’ve missed. Look for picture updates soon….bwaha. Also I went to Dan and Melissa’s and played Mario Party again. Damn I hate games of chance….give me Worms 3D any day. Well I’ll upload some of my SLR Pics as soon as I upload them to photobucket. Kevin Smells.
Long time no write

Yeah I’ve done many many things since my last update. I’ve gone to the beach several times, and although the waves haven’t been as big, me and Elise explored the paths and saw some really beautiful scenery. I love the dunes. Elise is good too…..hehe just kidding. She’s wonderful. We went to a social that I must say was planned incredibly. The class was overflowing…it was like a classier prom…kiddy cocktails abound….those rock. Although it was a little classy for me, everything is a little classy for me. I showed up in a brown leisure suit while everyone else but a few other souls were wearing black and white. I was very happy that my special gag gift was enjoyed (Lube and a Doo Rag…or however you spell it). Damn it’s hard to update these more than a day at a time. I’m trying to recall everything and it’s just slipping my mind. Hmmm…I went out and purchased a CD which I must say is one of the summeriest, most happy cd’s i’ve heard in an incredible amount of time. Listening to it is like eating prozac by the handful…seriously. This guy is like an emo singer with a girlfriend….yes yes it might seem impossible…but it isnt….seriously. My LJ is seriously lacking comments….so I’m led to the conclusion that it is read by no one. I can type anything I want in here about anyone. Seriously. No one will know. Elise has a secret fetish for celery. Kevin wears diapers. Andrew’s hair is really a wig. Cristin is a robot. See…no one will see that. Ever.
Here is a picture of Elise at the social (Just for me of course since no one else is going to read this):

(I will upload more pics for my own personal pleasure as soon as my new camera arrives)
Dammit…the birds are already chirping outside…I need to get to bed…
Zgeek
by Kyle on Jul.27, 2004, under Archive
From now on i’ll randomly post stuff from Zgeek since I’m becoming more and more involved with it (After the webmaster makes the move, I’m his US correspondant to the site) if you don’t know already, Zgeek is an Australian web page discussing just about anything and it’s really friggin amusing. Definitely a good place to discuss anything, it’s kind of a hide-out for some of the smarter people on the web to discuss whatever they want. Also, my webcam is on there if you would like to check it out. I’m going to try to get on there more often and will update when i’m on here…maybe I can make a little button that’ll say if I’m on or something, eh i’ll figure it out later.

Warped
by Kyle on Jul.25, 2004, under Archive
So, it’s been a while since I last updated…Warped was very very incredibly taste-tastic, but the fake people attending has grown exponentially. Last year I could pick Paris Hilton out of a crowd (I pointed the slut out to my friend without even knowing who she was) and this year like half of the people there were wearing the same thing she was (short skirts, high heels, makeup everywhere, tilted trucker hats…kill me). I’d love to take a trip into one of these girl’s minds…what the hell are they thinking? I would LOVE to see one of them friggin break one of the heels on their stupid shoes and flip into a crowd swallowed up never to be seen again. Also while i’m on a rant, what the fuck is up with these “I did (name of stupid ass celebrity that wears fake thrift clothes here)” shirts, hats, and other clothing? I mean seriously, when I was growing up If i wore a shirt proclaiming that I’d had sex with someone I hadn’t I would be arrested or something. Stupid kids, your dream boy won’t give you the time of day. Ok back to Warped. Coheed was so packed it was uncomfortable to stay in the pit (I’m happy for the band but it’s quite a pity since last year there was just the right amount of true Coheed fans for a kick ass show). Underoath freaking rocked (I knew they would) the keyboardist was the most energetic guy ever and they all put on probably the best show of the day on an incredibly small stage with a medium sized crowd (like about 100 people)…Gonna see them in Chicago the next time they come around and that’s a friggin guarantee.
