    Cristin tipped me off that it’d be a good show and I decided I’d take her advice and check it out. Holy…friggin…crap. The only thing that I found off about the first episode is that the production values and acting were definitely of a higher caliber than the stuff that you’d usually find on ABC. It reminded me of something you’d see on HBO.

    It’s really hard to explain without just telling the basic story, so I’ll just say I’d liken it to a more dramatic, emotionally involved, Boondock Saints. Irish guys, gangs, brotherly bonds, and more.

  • I was going to blog….

    I was going to blog about some hilarious headlines, but instead, since my server was down when I was in the writing mood, I’ll just post how much I hate the fact that professors have the ability to assign 10 page report drafts during midterm week and expect a fully revised version when we get back. Like we used that whole week to figure out how to make our paper better. I have a better idea – assume we’re studying during midterm week for the other classes we have, and assume we’re going to be relaxing and having fun over spring break. Probably the same damn thing you’re doing. I respect the fact that you want us to get everything done on time, but c’mon. Anyone disagree? (Or agree, of course.)

  • Why don’t we have cool pizza like this in the US?

    Hell Pizza needs to start giving out franchise licensing in the US for the following reasons:

    • Their Pizza is actually interesting – Seven of their flavors are named after the seven deadly sins and in my opinion sound freakin’ delicious (blue cheese, peppers, garlic…mmm…)
    • Awesome advertising schemes (Promoting their “Lust” pizza by distributing condoms with the meal, creating the fastest hearse in the world.)
    • The Pizza Box can actually morph into a tiny coffin to carry your “remains” wherever you’d like to finish them off.

  • My first real blog!

    Ok, I’ve been with blogger, livejournal, blogcharm, and even have frequented myspace blogs – but finally I have my own. I’m in total control. Cool.

    You guys know I don’t write often, but I’m going to try to keep this thing updated with happenings in my life – exciting or not – and also my opinions on the world in general.

    I’ve also imported my old blogs for your viewing enjoyment. If you know me, reminisce about our life together, if you don’t, make fun of my High School years. Both are equally fun.

  • “This Blog will change my life”

    So far i’ve been following my book quite well. Here are some pictures from the days I’ve completed recently! The first is me enjoying my ribs. No i’m not THAT messy, I was smearing the ribs on my face for fun. On this day the book recommended that I “Eat like a king” and hell yes I did.

    The second picture is the toe that I decided to pamper on “Single out one of your toes for special treatment” day. It has a smiley face because it loves me….?

  • Surgery’s Over! (I lived!)

    Holy crap, big ordeal but I obviously survived it…since I’m posting and all….well to gross you out I’ve decided to post a shot of my back so you can see about what happened during this surgery. Have fun!

  • Jones Bottle!

    Bwaha, Kevin’s ex girlfriend works at a COFFEE PLACE and she says these bottles are coming in…i guess they’re still running them. She brought us four of them and I enjoyed them thoroughly. (for those who don’t know, these bottles feature one of the pictures i’ve taken)

  • Jones Soda!

    As many of you know I love photography and it’s a major part of my life…well a while ago I submitted a bunch of my stuff to Jones Soda and what they do is sift through their stuff and put what they like on their bottles. I searched for my name in google (a little ego boost) and found out in September of ’04 they USED MY SHOT! AHHH! Not like this matters to you, but it freaks me out. Apparently one of the editors stumbled over my shot because it wasn’t getting an incredible rating (like 7/10). Attached is the cut from the big pdf sheet that i found myself on! Although the chances are slim they’ll still be running, if anyone finds it, i’d be glad to pay to have it shipped through the mail!

  • This is not good.

    This sucks. I’m actually scared. This doesnt happen often, especially on something like elections, but it’s looking grim for Kerry. I am nervous about everything, I’m nervous about the state of the country, I’m nervous about what voting this guy in is going to do to affect me, my family, and my future. I’ve had a nervous feeling in my stomach since last night when I noticed Bush was pulling ahead, and I have every reason to be scared of this man. Think of how many horrible things he’s done in his first four years: Pulled the US into the biggest deficit we’ve ever been in, swayed many laws to coincide with his religious beliefs, started the discrimination of yet another group of people (homosexuals), took away or fought to take away many freedoms from many people (think abortion, think speech). At any moment, it is allowed by his laws that an agent could read any private conversation (internet or not) and if they feel fit take action on it (instant warrant) Not to mention what he’s done to our environment, yet another lie from the Bush administration. The “Clean Air Act” is the total opposite of what the name states, it allows MORE pollution into the air and takes many limits off of greenhouse gasses and the amount of carcinogens released into the air. Bush has done so many horrible things in his first term, what the hell is going to happen now that he does not have to keep our votes. I’m really scared. Really truly scared.
